Subject to your explicit consent pursuant to Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR, the provider also carries out a statistical success evaluation of mail campaigns using web beacons or tracking pixels in the e-mails sent, which can measure opening rates and specific interactions with the content of the newsletter. In this context, end device information (e.g. time of access, IP address, browser type, and operating system) is also collected and evaluated, but not merged with other datasets.

You can revoke your consent to mail tracking at any time with effect for the future.

We have concluded a data processing agreement with the provider, which protects the data of our site visitors and prohibits disclosure to third parties.

If you choose the payment method "Apple Pay" from Apple Distribution International (Apple), Hollyhill Industrial Estate, Hollyhill, Cork, Ireland, the payment will be processed via the "Apple Pay" function of your terminal device operating with iOS, watchOS, or macOS by debiting a payment card deposited with "Apple Pay". Apple Pay uses security features integrated into the hardware and software of your device to protect your transactions. For releasing a payment, it is thus necessary to enter a code previously defined by you as well as verification via the "Face ID" or "Touch ID" function of your terminal device.

For the purpose of payment processing, your information provided during the ordering process as well as information about your order will be passed on to Apple in encrypted form. Apple then encrypts this data again with a developer-specific key before the data is transmitted to the payment service provider of the payment card deposited in Apple Pay to carry out the payment. The encryption ensures that only the website via which the purchase was made can access the payment data. After the payment has been made, Apple sends your device account number and a transaction-specific, dynamic security code to the source website to confirm the success of the payment.

If personal data is processed during the described transmissions, the processing is carried out exclusively for the purpose of payment processing pursuant to Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR.

Apple retains anonymized transaction data, including the approximate purchase amount, the approximate date and time, and whether the transaction was completed successfully. Through anonymization, any reference to a person is completely excluded. Apple uses the anonymized data to improve "Apple Pay" and other Apple products and services.

If you use Apple Pay on your iPhone or Apple Watch to complete a purchase made via Safari on your Mac, the Mac and the authorizing device communicate via an encrypted channel on the Apple servers. Apple does not process or store any of this information in a format that identifies you personally. You can disable the ability to use Apple Pay on your Mac in the settings of your iPhone. Go to "Wallet & Apple Pay" and turn off "Allow Payments on Mac".

For releasing a payment via Google Pay for an amount of more than € 25.00, your mobile device must previously be unlocked using the verification measure set up (e.g. facial recognition, password, fingerprint, or pattern).

For the purpose of payment processing, your information provided during the ordering process as well as information about your order will be passed on to Google. Google then transmits your payment information stored in Google Pay to the source website in the form of a uniquely assigned transaction number with which a successful payment is verified. This transaction number does not contain any information about the real payment data of the payment methods deposited with Google Pay, but is created and transmitted as a one-time valid numeric token. For all transactions via Google Pay, Google merely acts as an intermediary for processing the payment process. The transaction is carried out exclusively in the relationship between the user and the source website by debiting the payment method deposited with Google Pay.

If personal data is processed during the described transmissions, the processing is carried out exclusively for the purpose of payment processing pursuant to Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR.

According to Google, this processing is carried out exclusively in accordance with Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR on the basis of the legitimate interest in proper accounting, verification of transaction data, and optimization and functional maintenance of the Google Pay service.

Google also reserves the right to merge the processed transaction data with other information collected and stored by Google when using other Google services.

By default, when you visit the website, Google (Universal) Analytics sets cookies that are stored as small text blocks on your end device and collect certain information. Collection of Data Provided by Users
To improve analysis results for users whose contact data we have received in the context of business or business-like relationships, we use the "collection of user-provided data" feature.
Subject to your explicit consent pursuant to Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR, we transmit one or more files with aggregated customer data related to you (especially e-mail address and phone number) electronically to Google as part of this function. Google does not gain access to plaintext data, but automatically encrypts the information in the customer files during the transmission process using a special algorithm. The encrypted information can then only be used by Google to match it to existing Google accounts that the data subjects have set up.
The processing serves to specify measurement data, improves cross-device user traceability, and enables the integration of analysis results into advertising personalization and conversion tracking functions of Google Ads.
You can revoke your consent to us at any time with effect for the future. Further information on Google's privacy measures regarding the transmission of customer data can be found here: https://support.google.com/google-ads/answer/6334160?hl=de&ref_topic=10550182

9.3 Google Tag Manager

This website uses "Google Tag Manager", a service provided by the following provider: Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (hereinafter: "Google").

The Google Tag Manager provides a technical basis for bundling various web applications, including tracking and analysis services, and for being able to calibrate, control, and tie them to conditions via a unified user interface. The Google Tag Manager itself does not store any information on user end devices or read them out. The service also does not carry out independent data analysis. However, your IP address is transmitted to Google when the page is called up via the Google Tag Manager and possibly stored there. A transmission to servers of Google LLC in the USA is also possible.

10) Retargeting/ Remarketing and Conversion Tracking

10.1 Meta Pixel with Advanced Matching

Within our online offering, we use the "Meta Pixel" service of the following provider in the advanced matching mode: Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Square, Dublin 2, Ireland ("Meta")

If a user clicks on an advertisement placed by us on Facebook or Instagram, the URL of our linked page is expanded by a parameter with the help of "Meta Pixel". This URL parameter is then entered into the user's browser after the forwarding via a cookie set by our linked page itself. In addition, this cookie collects specific customer data such as the e-mail address, which we collect on our website linked to the Facebook or Instagram ad during processes such as purchase completions, account sign-ins, or registrations (advanced matching). The cookie is then read and enables the transmission of data, including the specific customer data, to Meta.

We use "Meta Pixel" with advanced matching to make our advertisements (so-called "Ads") on Facebook and/or Instagram more effective and to ensure that they correspond to the interests of the users or exhibit certain characteristics (e.g. interests in certain topics or products determined on the basis of the websites visited) that we transmit to Meta (so-called "Custom Audiences").

Furthermore, we analyze the effectiveness of our advertisements by tracking whether users were redirected to our website after clicking on an advertisement (conversion). Compared to the standard version of "Meta Pixel", the advanced matching function helps us better measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns by capturing more attributed conversions.

All transmitted data is stored and processed by Meta so that an assignment to the respective user profile is possible and Meta can use the data for its own advertising purposes in accordance with Meta's Data Usage Policy (https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/). The data can enable Meta and its partners to place advertisements on and off Facebook.

All processing operations described above, in particular the setting of cookies for reading information on the end device used, will only be carried out if you have given us your explicit consent to do so in accordance with Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR. You can revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future by deactivating this service in the "Cookie Consent Tool" provided on the website.

We have concluded a data processing agreement with the provider, which ensures the protection of the data of our site visitors and prohibits unauthorized disclosure to third parties.

The information generated by Meta is usually transmitted to a Meta server and stored there; in this context, a transmission to servers of Meta Platforms Inc. in the USA may also occur.

For data transfers to the USA, the provider has joined the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which ensures compliance with the European level of data protection on the basis of an adequacy decision of the European Commission.

10.2 Google Ads Conversion Tracking

This website uses the online advertising program "Google Ads" and, within the framework of Google Ads, the conversion tracking of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland ("Google").

We use the offer of Google Ads to draw attention to our attractive offers with the help of advertising media (so-called Google Adwords) on external websites. We can determine how successful the individual advertising measures are in relation to the data of the advertising campaigns. With this, we pursue the interest of showing you advertising that is of interest to you, making our website more interesting for you, and achieving a fair calculation of advertising costs.

The conversion tracking cookie is set when a user clicks on an Ads ad placed by Google. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your end device. These cookies generally expire after 30 days and are not used for personal identification. If the user visits certain pages of this website and the cookie has not yet expired, Google and we can recognize that the user clicked on the ad and was redirected to this page. Every Google Ads customer receives a different cookie. Cookies can therefore not be tracked across the websites of Google Ads customers. The information obtained using the conversion cookie is used to create conversion statistics for Google Ads customers who have opted for conversion tracking. Customers learn the total number of users who clicked on their ad and were redirected to a page with a conversion tracking tag. However, they do not receive any information that personally identifies users.

In the context of the use of Google Ads, personal data may also be transmitted to the servers of Google LLC in the USA.

Details on the processing triggered by Google Ads Conversion Tracking and how Google handles data from websites can be found here: https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites

You can permanently object to the setting of cookies by Google Ads Conversion Tracking by downloading and installing the Google browser plug-in available at the following link:
https://support.google.com/My-Ad-Center-Help/answer/12155656?hl=de

In order to address users, whose data we have received in the context of business or business-like relationships, with even more interest-based advertising, we use a customer match function within Google Ads. For this purpose, we transmit one or more files with aggregated customer data (especially e-mail addresses and phone numbers) electronically to Google. Google does not gain access to plaintext data, but automatically encrypts the information in the customer files during the transmission process using a special algorithm. The encrypted information can then only be used by Google to match it to existing Google accounts that the data subjects have set up. This allows personalized advertising to be displayed across all Google services linked to the respective Google account.

The transmission of customer data to Google only takes place if you have given us your explicit consent to do so in accordance with Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR. You can revoke this consent to us at any time with effect for the future. Further information on Google's privacy measures regarding the customer match function can be found here: https://support.google.com/google-ads/answer/6334160?hl=de&ref_topic=10550182
Google's privacy policy can be viewed here: https://business.safety.google/intl/de/privacy/ and https://www.google.de/policies/privacy/

For data transfers to the USA, the provider has joined the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which ensures compliance with the European level of data protection on the basis of an adequacy decision of the European Commission.

10.3 Google Marketing Platform

This website uses the online marketing tool Google Marketing Platform operated by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland ("GMP").

GMP uses cookies to serve ads relevant to users, to improve campaign performance reports, or to prevent a user from seeing the same ads multiple times. Google uses a cookie ID to record which ads are displayed in which browser and can thus prevent them from being displayed more than once. Furthermore, GMP can use cookie IDs to record so-called conversions related to ad requests. This is the case, for example, if a user sees a GMP ad and later visits the advertiser's website using the same browser and purchases something through this website. According to Google, GMP cookies do not contain any personal information.
Due to the marketing tools used, your browser automatically establishes a direct connection with Google's server.

We have no influence on the scope and further use of the data collected by Google through the use of this tool and therefore inform you according to our level of knowledge: By integrating GMP, Google receives the information that you have called up the corresponding part of our website or clicked on an ad from us. If you are registered with a Google service, Google can assign the visit to your account. Even if you are not registered with Google or have not logged in, there is a possibility that the provider will find out and store your IP address. In the context of the use of GMP, personal data may also be transmitted to the servers of Google LLC in the USA.

For data transfers to the USA, the provider has joined the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which ensures compliance with the European level of data protection on the basis of an adequacy decision of the European Commission.

The privacy policy of GMP by Google can be found here: https://business.safety.google/intl/de/privacy/ and https://www.google.de/policies/privacy/

11) Site Functionalities

11.1 Google Maps

This website uses an online map service of the following provider: Google Maps (API) provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland ("Google").

Google Maps is a web service for displaying interactive (land) maps to visually present geographical information. By using this service, our location is displayed to you, making it easier to find us.

Already when calling up those sub-pages into which the Google Maps map is integrated, information about your use of our website (such as your IP address) is transmitted to Google servers and stored there; in this context, a transmission to the servers of Google LLC in the USA may also occur. This occurs regardless of whether Google provides a user account through which you are logged in or whether a user account exists. If you are logged in to Google, your data will be directly associated with your account. If you do not wish to be associated with your profile at Google, you must log out before activating the button. Google stores your data (even for users who are not logged in) as usage profiles and evaluates them.

Collection, storage, and evaluation are carried out in accordance with Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR on the basis of Google's legitimate interest in displaying personalized advertising, market research, and/or the demand-oriented design of Google websites. You have a right to object to the creation of these user profiles, whereby you must contact Google to exercise it. If you do not agree to the future transmission of your data to Google in the context of the use of Google Maps, there is also the option of completely deactivating the web service of Google Maps by turning off the JavaScript application in your browser. Google Maps, and thus the map display on this website, can then not be used.

To the extent legally required, we have obtained your consent for the processing of your data described above in accordance with Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR. You can revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future. To exercise your revocation, please follow the option to lodge an objection described above.

For data transfers to the USA, the provider has joined the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which ensures compliance with the European level of data protection on the basis of an adequacy decision of the European Commission.

Further information on Google's privacy policy can be found here: https://business.safety.google/intl/de/privacy/

11.2 Adobe Fonts (Typekit)
